Weekend Wellness #2 {Link Party}

Last week I posted about getting in shape. I have something to admit. I have not been very good this week...I know I'm supposed to be the motivator here but hey, we are all human! I did not work out, I did not eat quite as healthy as I should, and worst of all, I got my hubby off track too.

Am I the only one who has MASSIVE chocolate cravings? I'm talkin', the whole room looks like chocolate, its all I can think about, mad if I don't get some, cravings. Its pretty ridiculous...my poor hubby!

Needless to say, I totally caved and went out for some chocolate ice cream...and then it just snowballed from there.

I NEED HELP!!

I need to here some motivating stories from you guys to help me get back on track! So that is why I'm starting the Weekend Wellness Link Party!! I don't have a button yet, but I do have a party!! For now you can just put a text link back to my blog so others can get inspired and get fit with us!

First things first: The dreaded weigh in....here we go!

MY CURRENT WEIGHT: 141 
 I guess I lost 1 pound so its not that bad but still....I need help!

Weekend Wellness! {#1}

So earlier this weekend I posted about my hubby and I getting healthy! {you can find that post here} I didn't go into much detail so I will share a little more about it right now.

We have been married for a year and in that year I have gained 30 pounds. It seems like a lot for just one year so I've decided to do something about it and my husband is going to join in on the fun!

This has been our plan so far: My husband usually works from 6-2pm and I work from 9-5pm so I get up when he leaves for work and I eat breakfast, spend about 10-15 minutes on the treadmill and then I do exercises for about 30 min. Then I get ready and go to work.

My husband does the same thing when he gets home from work but he likes to be on the treadmill for a little bit longer.

I have lost a few pounds already (probably water weight but at least its something!) and I think my husband has too.

I was having a complete lack of inspiration before I started this journey and I was slowly but steadily gaining weight. Once I posted a couple days ago, I figured I should take some "before" pictures so you guys could see my progress but wow...I was not expecting to see what I saw! haha

If I ever need inspiration again I will look at that picture! {I'm not comfortable enough to post it on here yet but I will soon!}

This is the workout that I'm going to try to accomplish every morning this week. If you want to join me let me know! The more the merrier!

**PLEASE pay attention to your body when doing this workout. Doing some of it is better than none of it so if you can't finish the whole thing that's fine :) **

I would like to do a "weigh in" on here every Friday and I would like for everyone to join in *if you want*!

Summer is coming and I'm unprepared...

Summer is almost here and I'm so excited for the beautiful weather, grilled food, and afternoons by the pool!! There is one thing I'm not so excited about though...

I know most women don't like to talk about their weight but I don't mind.

When I married my husband I weighed 113 pounds (I realize that this is not a normal weight for most women and by no means am I trying to get back down to this weight - I am just stating the facts). We have been married for a little over a year and since then I have gained about 30 pounds!!

I currently weigh 143 pounds and I have a small frame so its starting to be too noticeable. I'm still comfortable in my body but not as comfortable as I would like to be - especially when I will be in my bikini in less than two weeks... My goal weight is 125 pounds and I'm about to start working towards that goal! I want to do this in a healthy, natural way so my hubby and I will be eating healthy and working out!

My hubby is going to be working towards his goal as well and he is hoping to lose 30 pounds.

I will keep posting about this throughout the journey and I would love for you guys to join!
