Science Crafts: Glowing Flowers

I think that doing science projects with your little ones is one of the best ways to spend an afternoon and now that its back to school time, this could help them to get warmed up.

You remember that experiment in school when you would die your flowers colors by placing them in water that had food color in it? Well this is a really awesome twist on that project!

They glow!! This is such a cool science experiment and it uses things that you likely already have around the house. You can't get better than that! Find the tutorial at Fun at Home with the Kids!

Science Crafts: Homemade Silly Putty

I'm a 90's kid. As such, green slime was a big part of my childhood! Nickelodeon, anyone? I remember always wanting to get slimed after I won a game show on Nickelodeon. Sadly, that dream never came true but now that I have a son, we can create our own green slime!! I'm so excited!

**Just make sure to supervise your little ones because this recipe is not for consumption!**

To get the recipe for this ooey-gooey, sticky-icky slime, head on over to Our Best Bites!
